It's not quite between St George and Bryce but not a bad trip from St George; Spring Creek Canyon near Kanarraville is a very nice walk into a set of slot canyons. . Kanarraville also has a famous canyon but it can be wet and I'm not sure of the ladder situation at Snow Canyon State Park | Utah State Parks
